One of the unique abilities of spray foams is getting into small cracks and crevices. Once the foam is applied directly into the cracks, it expands and dries quickly while blocking air and water.
Foam insulation isn’t just a blockade for air and water, but for heat and cold as well.
Even though foam insulation is more expensive than other types of insulation, it saves you money on bills in the long-term.
Spray Foam is most commonly used in basement box sills and rim board, but can be used in other applications as well.

Cellulose is a less expensive, eco friendly option for your home. Cellulose insulations are generally made from wood and paper. Newspapers, office paper, cardboard, and other waste paper are usually recycled to form cellulose insulation.
Cellulose is installed during the final stages of construction. In walls, holes would be drilled in the exterior of each wall cavity, and then sealed after the blow. Attics are blown through the attic access point, and the access is then insulated and sealed.

Fiberglass batts are a great option for new construction, or remodeling, as they can be installed before drywall is hung. Fiberglass can be used in both walls and attics. Fiberglass does not settle, and is not affected by moisture.
